HARTSTOK Alma (nee Plitt) April 9, 1914 to May 4, 2008 Alma passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 94 years. Alma is survived by three children; Edward (Gloria) of Red Deer, Gertrude (Bill) of Vernon, Dorothy (John) of Edmonton; five grandchildren: Kevin of Vernon, Kelly (Midge) of Penticton, Bradley of Edmonton, Deanna (Sheldon) of St. Albert, Denise of Edmonton; three great grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher and Sierra as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alma was predeceased by her husband, Leopold; daughter, Lydia; five brothers: Arthur, Robert, Julius, Wilbert and Stanley; four sisters: Helen, Esther, Hanna and Irene. A Funeral Service for the late Alma Hartstok will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Boulevard, Red Deer with Pastor Don Hennig officiating. Interment to follow. If relatives and friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to The Mount Calvary Lutheran Church towards the Nicaraguan Mission or to the donor's choice. In living memory of Alma Hartstok a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Memorial Tree Park in Red Deer County.
