Anne RAMAGE

September 22, 2007

RAMAGE, Anne Marie Dec. 18, 1930 – Sept. 20, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the Whitehorn Village Retirement Home after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 76 years. Anne was born in the Stewiacke Valley of Nova Scotia on December 18, 1930 and moved to Red Deer in her teens, later to Calgary, then to Crossfield, residing there until ill health sent her to Whitehorn. She was an LPN, retiring from the Calgary General Hospital in 1993. Anne was the ultimate caregiver, always putting her family first before herself and never complained about what obstacles life had in store for her. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carol Wilkie of Calgary; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Kevin and Sylvia Ramage of Calgary and Andrew and Lori Ramage of Red Deer; grandchildren, Kyla (Darren), Erin (Jake), Jeremy (Kyre Dawn), Ryan (Kate), Niamh, Maitland, Langley; great- grandchildren, Hudsyn and Carter as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dave and sister Dot (2006); son-in-law Gene (2005) and brother Herbert (1936). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Crossfield Cemetery, Crossfield, AB.
