Will was born on October 11, 1963 in Red Deer and was raised on a farm west of Red Deer. He graduated from Camille J. Lerouge in 1981. Will had an adventurous spirit and a zest for life. He loved to hunt, go skiing in the winter and water-skiing in the summer. Will's sense of adventure and zest for life allowed him to take up skydiving and eventually become a jumpmaster. He was always fixing things, earning the nickname "McGyver". Will was an active volunteer, volunteering for all his children's 4-H, various sports or school activities, spending time helping out with the Big Brothers and Sisters program, the County of Red Deer Fire Department for the past sixteen years, where he was the Red Deer West Community Captain or just anyone who needed a helping hand. He loved to spend time with family and friends, creating memories of all the good times they shared. Will was a dedicated husband and father who worked tirelessly for his family, but for how hard he worked, he loved and played even harder. For all those who were fortunate to have known Will, the twinkle in his eye, the way he loved to tease and his beautiful smile that warmed and touched us all will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
