FILIPOWICZ Audrey Nelreen Filipowicz of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Audrey was born on January 1, 1927 at Red Deer, Alberta. Audrey was a very wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a kind friend. She loved her family very much. Audrey loved all flowers and was passionate about them, knowing each one by name. Audrey, "Our special flower" we will miss you dearly but love you in our hearts forever. Audrey leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Bonnie Lamoureaux of Eckville, Alberta, David Walz of Stettler, Alberta and Donna (Ivan) Harrick of Lacombe, Alberta, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Irene Smith, Ken Gehrke and Leola Germin, all of Red Deer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Audrey was predeceased by her siblings, Eleanor Campbell, Howard Gehrke, Melville Gehrke and a son, Gerald Walz. All are welcome to come and pay their respects one hour prior to the Life Celebration. A Public Celebration of Audrey's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
