MARSHALL Ben Marshall of Red Deer passed away in Rimbey, AB on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the age of 93 years. He was born at home at Manson, MB on December 17, 1914. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Topsy (Ruth) in 2005. Ben is survived by two daughters: Twila (Cal) Woods of Victoria, BC and Judy McAuley (Doug Seitz) of Blackfalds, AB; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Barney (Anne) Marshall of Campbell River, BC, and Ron Marshall of Moosomin, SK; brother-in-law Ralph (Mae) Poston of Winnipeg, MB and sister-in-law Evelyn Poston of Virden, MB. As per Ben's wishes there will be no funeral service. A family inurnment will take place at Manson Cemetery, Manson, MB later in February. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donation may be made in Ben Marshall's memory to the Central Alberta Women's Emergency Shelter, P.O. Box 561, Red Deer, AB, T4N 5G1. In living memory of Ben Marshall, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree park, Red Deer County, AB.
