ZINS, BENJAMIN 1928 - 2007 It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our loving father at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on September 29, 2007. Ben was born in Stindin, Poland and moved to Canada in 1929, residing in Alberta. Ben will be lovingly remembered by his three children; Gary Zins, Brian Zins, and Judy Kirtzinger and two grandchildren; Brent (Laura) Riel and Braden Harley. He is also survived by one sister, Hattie Marr, one sister-in-law, June Hank, one brother-in-law, Dan Hank, and many more in-laws, a very good friend, Marion Geddes and family as well as many nieces and nephews. Ben was predeceased by his wife, Margaret in 1988, his parents; Gustav and Wilhelmima, four sisters; Lilly, Hilda, Liddie and Alvina, one brother, Alfred, and many good friends. Ben worked most of his working years as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the County of Red Deer. He loved his retirement years, especially spending time visiting with friends at the mall. He will be missed dearly. Those wishing to pay their respects to Mr. Benjamin Zins can do so at the Davenport Church of Christ (68 Donlevy Avenue) on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 9:30 a.m until 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the Davenport Church of Christ on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Red Deer Cemetery.
