EVANYSHYN Betty Evanyshyn, beloved wife of Gary Evanyshyn, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 28, 2004 at the age of 52. Betty was born at Biggar, Sask. on March 5, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Gary, her daughters Danielle and Dana (Barlow) and precious granddaughter Bronwyn. She is also survived by her mother Phyllis Slater of Lacombe, brothers John (Margaret), Rick, Bob (Bev) and one sister JoAnne (Bill), Mike (Wendy) Evanyshyn, Brian (Wendy) Evanyshyn, Jeanette Evanyshyn (Ken) and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty was predeceased by her father Jack Slater, mother-in-law Leola Evanyshyn, father-in-law Mike Evanyshyn. Memorial services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, Lacombe, on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Red Deer Cancer Clinic P.O.
