BEUGIN – Mary Ellen 1944 - 2005 Mary Ellen (Midge) (nee Bodell) Beugin beloved wife of Mr. Brian Beugin, who lived close to the nature she loved within the trees of Water Valley, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2005, after a tough-fought, and lengthy battle against the ravages of cancer at the age of 61 years. Mary Ellen was born March 1, 1944 in High River, AB, and grew up and went to school in Mossleigh, AB. Her heart, mind and soul and talents reached many gifted and needy children throughout her teaching career. Mary Ellen was a special education teacher, with remarkable talent. She taught in elementary schools in Calgary, Olds, Red Deer and again in Calgary. Mary Ellen was a published author. Above all, she gave all the love and wisdom she could possibly give to her family and friends. Mary Ellen will be very much missed by her husband Brian, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Lori Beugin of Cochrane; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Kevin Green of LaGlace, AB; her beloved grandchildren Tyler Green and Aidan, Brooklyn, Kynan Beugin. She is also survived by her mother Eva Bodell of Calgary; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Frank Bodell of Calgary, Jim and Leslie Bodell of Calgary, a sister Hazel Backs of High Prairie, AB; as well as her relations in Ireland. She was predeceased by her father Frank Bodell in 1977. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
