BEVANS Mrs. Nancy E. Bevans (Angelopoulos) of Lacombe passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007. She was born on the family farm in Landis, Saskatchewan on November 9, 1921. Her family made the move to Alberta when her father got a job working for the railroad. Nancy later met her husband, Art while she was working as a postmistress in Royalties, Alberta. They married in 1947. One of the things Nancy enjoyed most in life was to travel, as she saw many parts of Greece, Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, Barbados, Hawaii, and the United States. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Don of Blackfalds and Ron (Teresa) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Cody (Melina) Bevans of Red Deer, Brandi Bevans (Scott) of Lacombe, Ron of Kansas, Danny of Calgary, and Michael of Bolivia. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters Sofie and Mary, and brothers Paul and Ernie, as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Art, sisters Lillian and Alice, brother, John and daughter in law, Shelley. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alberta Lung Association or to the Lacombe Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
