BOETTGER 1916- 2007 Mrs. Evelyn "Margaret" Boettger of Eckville, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Margaret was born on April 4, 1916 at Dunrae, Manitoba. Known as the "Doll Lady" she was very quiet mannered and was loved by all. Margaret enjoyed her time at the Eckville Manor. She also enjoyed doing crafts and jigsaw puzzles. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking one of her excellent meals for them. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Hazel (Don) Heistad of Lacombe, four sons, Allan (Pearl) Boettger of Bentley, Larry (Shirley) Boettger of Eckville, Glen (Cathy) Boettger and Blane (Denise) Boettger both of Blackfalds, a sister, Olive Weeks of Calgary, sister-in-law, Beatrice Schmick of Cochrane, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, a son Murray, a granddaughter, Coreen, three brothers and four sisters. A Celebration of Margaret's Life was held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Sunday, July 8, 2007. Cremation at Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
