Hilda also had three grandchildren Andy and Brendan Reykdal, and Elle Couture. Raised on a farm west of Bluffton, Hilda worked at the Rimbey Hotel, and later on in life at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club, and also at the Lacombe Curling Rink. While raising a family of 5, Hilda also found time to volunteer much of her spare time to local figure skating clubs for over 12 years. In her latter life, Hilda could be found enjoying coffee and conversation with friends at the local A&W or in her garden tending to her many flowers and plants.
