WILTZEN, Braden Matthew

1982 - 2017

Our sweet darling boy, Braden Wiltzen, was taken from us tragically on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Calgary AB at the age of 35 years.

Braden was raised and completed his schooling in Red Deer, first at Koinonia Christian and then Hunting Hills. He worked in the Financial Industry, his last six years at Canoe Financial where he made so many good friends. Braden was a gentle soul with a great and tender heart. There was nothing he would not do for those he met, and it is shown in the amazing outpouring of grief from around the world since his passing.

Braden was tall and handsome with an incredible smile and laugh that shielded a fiercely competitive drive where he strove to be the best at all he did and where coming up short just meant you had to be better next time. He excelled in sports, be it hockey, golf, badminton, or even ping pong. Braden was the type of man that people gravitated to and wanted to be with, from little kids, to seniors, and everyone in between.

Braden leaves to mourn his mom and dad, Wendy and Tim; his loving sister and best friend, Lori and very special brother in law, Chad Frank and their children, Avari, Lyric, and Petra who he absolutely doted on, and they him; his gramma, Mollie Gyori, as well as many uncles and aunts and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother Matthew Timothy; uncle Bill Gyori and three of his grandparents. He gave his heart to the Lord as a young boy, and it is in this knowledge that we know he is in the arms of Jesus Christ.

A Funeral Service will be held in the main auditorium of CrossRoads Church, (SW corner of 32 St and highway 2), 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, AB on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Braden's honor may be made directly to Suicide Information and Education Services, 4101 - 54 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 7G3. Condolences to Braden's family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
