Brant DUNN

DUNN Brant Edwin Dunn passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital with his family at his side on January 31, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Ed was born in Boissevaine, Manitoba on September 29, 1934. He was raised in Red Lake, Ontario before joining the Canadian Air Force at the age of 18. His long military career took him to numerous parts of Europe and across Canada before settling in Red Deer. He continued his federal service with Corrections Canada before retiring after 37 years of service. This is when he concentrated on his love of golf. He filled his retirement with golf, hunting, family, and winter travel. Ed is survived by his wife, Denise, son, Glen (Kathy), daughter, Kelly (Mark LaGrange) and step-daughter, Michelle Arnold. He was predeceased by his first wife, Peggy (1988) and his eldest daughter, Michelle (2001). He will be missed by his grandchildren; Elliot Janko, Alanna and Brant Dunn and James LaGrange as well as his siblings; Harry Dunn, Marlene Stiven and Betty Anne Henderson. Ed's generosity and sense of humour will be missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35 (2810 Bremner Ave) on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m., a reception and private family interment will follow.
