BROOKS, Mrs. Rose Christine Brooks of Red Deer, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Rose was the beloved wife, friend and soul mate of sixty-four years of Levi ‘Lil’ Brooks. Rose was a strong willed woman with high moral values. She was a Den Mother for ten years and loved to volunteer wherever she was needed. Rose will be very deeply missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Rose is survived by her loving husband, ‘Lil’, four children, Blaine (Charlotte), Darlene, Robin (Janice) and Bradley (Joyce), ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by two sisters, Kay (Ralph) Koch, Gladys (Rod) MacDonald and one brother, Scotty (Amy) Biegler. A Celebration of Rose’s life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
