BURCH It is with great love and fondness that we remember the extraordinary life of William "Bill" Henry Burch who passed away on March 27, 2007 at Innisfail, Alberta at the age of 83 years. Bill loved to learn, and his passion was never more evident than in his chosen profession of teacher, a position he held for 35 years. He was regarded fondly by his many students, and upon his retirement in 1981, his passion expanded to traveling, photography and enjoying all aspects of life with friends and family. His life will continue to be celebrated by his dear friend Violet Niblock of Innisfail; nephews Lawrence (Shirley) Howell of Innisfail, Dennis Howell of Red Deer, Garry (Iris) Burch of Red Deer, George (Marlene) Howell of Innisfail and Wayne (Bonnie) Howell of Red Deer; his nieces Doreen Mumby of Red Deer, Deloyc Walker of St. Albert, Jean Kelly of Lethbridge, Esther (Red) McPhedran of Red Deer, Frances Howe of Edmonton; niece in law Joyce Howell of Red Deer and the many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews who all knew him as "Uncle Bill". Bill was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth; his brothers Robert and John (Lillian); his sisters Dorothy and Esther (Billy) Howell; his niece Gail Burch; his nephew Edward Howell and his great great nephew Devin Howell. Please join us in remembering Bill's momentous life at the Innisfail United Church on Thursday April 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to STARS Air Ambulance or to a charity of one's choice. As a memorial tribute to William Burch a tree will be planted in the Tree Memorial Park (Innisfail) by HEARTLAND FUNERAL SERVICES LTD.
