ROBINSON Cecilia Mary Teresa Robinson of Red Deer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2005. Cecilia was born on September 19, 1916 at Moosomin, Saskatchewan. She later moved to Red Deer, where she met and married the love of her life, John. Cecilia was a wonderful, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend whose family and friends meant the world to her. Her kind, compassionate and caring nature was very fitting for her chosen career in nursing. Cecilia’s love of people brought her a great deal of joy and fulfillment. Her wonderful sense of humor and dry wit kept her family and friends laughing. Cecilia, your loving heart, twinkling eyes and beautiful smile will be very deeply and sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of those you touched. Cecilia leaves behind, her loving children; Joanne (Butch) Henry, Randy Robinson, both of Red Deer, John ‘Bill’ Robinson of Edmonton, Dianne (Doug) Skow of Calgary and her grandchildren, Noah, Richard, Lisa, Owen, Caitlin and Lindsey. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Helen (George) Lamont, Jack (Candy) Smalley, Cecile (Earl) Jorgenson, Pat Tennant, Linda Dorchak, Lee Calvert, as well as numerous other family members and many longtime friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, sons, Gregory, Garrett, John and Joseph, brothers, Ronald and Bill Flynn and sister, Evelyn Smalley. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. A Public Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Interment will be held at a later date at the Red Deer Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Cecilia’s honour may be made directly to a Charity of the donor’s choice.
