Ceridwin ARGUE

ARGUE Ceridwin Caroline Argue of Gull Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Community Health Care Center on October 15, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Cerid was born in Wales and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1927, settling in the Eagle Hill community west of Olds. Cerid was predeceased by her husband Albert and infant daughter Margaret. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Ken, two daughters; Heather (Bob) Hutchison of Gull Lake and Janet (Milos) Cerny of Edmonton, as well as three sisters; Emma Anderson of Grande Prairie, Ruby Baker of Cremona and Gladys Hegberg of Red Deer, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, step-sons Stan Argue, Melvin Argue (Stephen Gulbransen) and step-daughter Evelyn Argue (Richardo Rodriguez) as well as Ken’s two grandchildren. Cerid was a familiar figure in the Gull Lake Community where she lived for the last 60 years prior to her passing. She volunteered for many charitable community projects or building quilts with the "ladies club". She was always ready with a hot meal or a place to stay when her many family and friends dropped in unexpectedly. Later in life she and Ken often enjoyed riding their bikes, sailing or playing cards. Funeral Services for Cerid will be held from Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lacombe & Community Palliative Care Society, Box 5576, Lacombe, AB. T4L 1X2 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
