ADAMS-Charles E. Mr. Charles Ewart Adams, passed away at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Sunday, November 6, 2005, at the age of 87 years. He is survived by two twin sons, Darrell and Donald (Darlene), two grandchildren, Jason (Angie), and Jolyne, sister Ann of Edmonton. He was predeceased by wife Doris, brother Tom, sister Mary, and stepson Terry. Born in Major, Saskatchewan, in 1918. Charlie was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a mechanic for 18 months of voluntary services during the Second World War. He worked as a Derrick man in Turner Valley in 1949, then realized his goal as a Drill Stem Tester, for Halliburton for 21 years, then Schlumberger, offshore drilling, 10 years. We could always count on Charlie to be there for the family needs, and he never complained. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Arthritis Association. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening, November 17, at 7 pm. at the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home.
