Clifford HANSEN

HANSEN Clifford Frederick Hansen of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Hospital on Friday December 23, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Cliff was born on November 12, 1926 at Benalto, Alberta. He attended school at Benalto and Dickson. In June of 1947 he married Eileen Rhodes and they settled on their own farm in the Diamond Valley District. In 1978 Cliff and Eileen moved to Red Deer. In addition to farming Cliff drove a school bus for a number of years. In 1970, Cliff earned his motor mechanics license from SAIT. Cliff worked a number of years as a motor mechanic and also drove Charter Bus. Later he also worked as a foreman of Prairie Bus Lines, retiring in 1991. Cliff is survived by his wife Eileen, a daughter Colleen (Patrick), son Colin (Ruth), 2 granddaughters Jolene and Jess (Jerry). Cliff was predeceased by 2 brothers, Orville and Herb, and 1 grandson Ryan. Many thanks go out to Dr. R. Mulder and the staff of Unit 22 whose exceptional care eased his last days. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 2PM at the Innisfail United Church, 4720 48 Ave. Interment to be at the Innisfail Cemetery following the service; followed by a tea at the C.E.
