VOLD CLIFFORD MARSHALL VOLD Clifford Vold of Ponoka, Alberta was born in the Asker District east of Ponoka on June 24, 1915 and passed away on July 30, 2006 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. Clifford lived a full 91 years of ranching, rodeoing, playing musical instruments, and collecting antiques. He was a brand inspector for 20 years, working markets in Edmonton and Central Alberta. He was a man of many interests and talents. He is survived by his children: Janet Vold, Sharon (Lonny) Olson and Brenda Vold all of Ponoka; 6 grandchildren: Shelbey, Joselyn, and Camille Louis, Larue and Lain Olson and Ashlee Olson-Jaeger; brothers Harry (Karen) Vold of Avondale, Colorado and Ralph (Delores) Vold of Ponoka; sisters-in-law Elaine Vold of Ponoka and Daisy Tayles of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marion, his parents F.N. and Kirsten Vold and his brother Norman. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Loyal Order of the Moose Hall, Hwy 2A, Ponoka. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society.
