Cox, Allen Richard Cox passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospital on Monday, March 14, 2005 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving family; 3 sons, Randy (Cheryl), Terry (Catherine) and Pat (Sue); 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Dora (Bill) Mac and Verna Petry; one brother Fred (Barbara) Cox; sister in law, Carla Cox as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Allen was predeceased by 2 daughters, Sharon and Kay; son Roy; granddaughter Tracey and 2 brothers Frank and Trevor as well a brother in law, Gordon Petry. Allen was born in Bentley, April 20, 1922 and raised in the Gull Lake district. He enjoyed farming and real estate. A Funeral Service will be held at the Bentley Community Church (4824 – 50th St.), Bentley, Alberta on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Allen’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
