SMITH, Damon Matthew Mr. Damon Matthew Smith passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Damon was born on September 2, 1952 at Saint John, New Brunswick and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. Damon's passion was his trade, siding houses. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered forever in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Damon leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, Therese Smith of North Bay, Ontario, his father, Haslem (Carolyn) Smith of Lexington, Kentucky, his daughter, Melissa Smith of Lumby, British Columbia and his brothers, Ian (Cindy) Smith of Lexington, Kentucky, Andrew (Charlene) Smith of North Bay, Ontario and James (Ellen) Smith of Barrie, Ontario. He will also be sadly missed by Linda McKinnon of Westwold, British Columbia, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. at Eventide Funeral Chapels on Friday, October 29, 2004. A Celebration of Damon's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. In place of flowers, Memorial Donations in Damon's honour may be made directly to the Red Deer Food Bank, 12, 7429 - 49th Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4P 1N2.
