Mr. Daniel George 'Dan' Randal, beloved husband of Mrs. Cathy Randal of Meridian Beach, (Gull Lake) Alberta, passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey, Alberta on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Dan was born and raised at Windsor, Ontario and moved to Kitchener, Ontario at the age of fifteen. It was there he met his wife, Cathy; and where the couple raised their three children. Dan owned and managed a Car Dealership at Waterloo; and continued with his entrepreneurial spirit once he moved his family to Alberta. He was constantly on the go in one way or another. He was a hard guy to keep up with, but was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cathy of Meridian Beach, Alberta; his sons, Dave (Bobbi) Randal of Penhold, Alberta and Mike (Deborah) Randal of Orillia, Ontario; his daughter, Tracy Kambeitz of Vancouver, British Columbia; and his grandchildren, Shelby Randal, Marina Randal, Taylor Kambeitz, Daniel Randal and Michelle Kambeitz. He will also be sadly missed by two sisters, Judy Horst of Cochrane, Alberta and Shirley Beach of Mississauga, Ontario; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loyal friends. Dan was predeceased by his parents, George and Irene Randal. A Celebration of Dan's Life will be held in the Spring. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
