Daryl Goodwin Lunder

Daryl passed away at Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks at the age of 81 years.

He was predeceased by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife Deanna (nee: Johnston).

Our father dearly known as Papa will be remembered for his everlasting love for our mom, his love of family, camping, Black Diamond, the hills, music and his puppy dogs. Papa taught us many things over his lifetime but his legacy can be summed up in three words, Health, Happiness & Honesty. Words he held close to his heart and words he taught us to live by.

Papa will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Kevin (Trish), Sandra, James (Shelley), his seven grandchildren, Kyle (Tanya), Katie (Brett), Brad (Jess), Craig, Drew (Joanna), Michael and Matthew, three great grandchildren, Kaiden and newly born Sequoia and Evelyn.

The family would like to thank the incredibly compassionate staff and volunteers at Foothills Country Hospice for truly making a difference in the final weeks of his life. Special thanks to Herb and Debbie Armitage for their years of friendship and to Carol and John Carson for a lifetime of memories, best friends, forever and always.

Rest in peace Papa, we will miss you and always love you.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Foothills Country Hospice – www.countryhospice.org
