David CRANG

CRANG David Crang, passed away at the age of 64 in Calgary, Alberta on March 21, 2005. David was born in Brandon, Manitoba on August 24, 1940. He married Sharon (Henderson) in 1977. They lived in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where David worked for the Voyageur Restaurant, then moved to Saskatoon in 1977 where he began his career with Corrections Services Canada. In 1987 they moved to Innisfail, Alberta where he worked at the Bowden Penitentiary. David had recently retired from Bowden and started a family business (Findlater Fine Foods) making pickled products and his special jams. David enjoyed many things in life and lived his life to the fullest. David is survived by his loving wife Sharon (29 years), his son Derek (Nancy), his granddaughter Jade, his daughter Kimberly (Troy), the family’s special pet “Buddy”, and his extended family Gaye Crotty (Doug) and their children McKenzie and Patrick. He also survived by his brothers: Jim (Irene), Robert (Norma), his mother-in-law Lucille Henderson (Denny), brother-in-law Larry Henderson (Val), his sister-in-law Cathy Guest (Tony), Shirley Henderson (Blaine), Brenda Cartier (Bob), Connie Savage (Jay), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. David was predeceased by his father Findlater (1963), his mother Marie (1995), his brother Jack (1982), his father-in-law Darrel (1986), and his nephew Keith (2004). In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to the MS Society of Canada. Funeral for the late David Crang will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Funeral Chapel 4200-49 Avenue Innisfail, Alberta with Joan Palardy officiating.
