BROOKER Deborah Anne Nov. 2, 1956 - Dec. 25, 2007 In loving Memory of Deborah Anne Brooker (nee Folmer). It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Debbie Brooker of Red Deer on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Foothills Hospital, Calgary after a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was born in Prince Albert, SK. She attended East Central Elementary School, followed by Composite High School. Following graduation she worked for about four years for Rural School District #56; then for 14 years at Woodhouse, Tucker in Prince Albert. In 1992 she met the love of her life, Keith and soon moved to Red Deer, AB to be with him. She commenced work at Cuthbertson, Sandall where she continued to be employed at the time of her passing. Debbie loved to garden, decorate and travel but her greatest passion was time spent with her family and many friends. She had a very generous heart and gentle soul and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Debbie is survived by her loving husband Keith and his sons; Jason (and his daughter Adelle) and Lee; her parents Albert and Beverley Folmer; two sisters Sandra (Roland) Forest and their children Ryan and Kymberley as well as Linda (Ron) Fisher and their children Rayna and MacKenzie. She is also survived by her parents-in-law Gordon and Joan Brooker; sister-in-law Karen (Bob) MacFarlane and their children Scott and Craig; two brothers-in-law Terry (Judy Birdsell) and their children Sarah and Rhys, Grant (Bev) and their children Ellen and Chris. She also leaves to mourn her loss many aunts, uncles and cousins. Debbie was predeceased by her grandparents Harvey (Lillian) Bell and Arnold (Hendrika) Folmer, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Debbie's life will also be held at a later date in Prince Albert, SK, details will follow.
