Denish ABALOS

ABALOS Denish B. Abalos of Red Deer, formerly of Olongapo City, Philippines passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton on February 16, 2007 at the age of 49 years. Denish immigrated to Canada in 1993 with his wife and daughter. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Denish will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Celia, one daughter, Cecile Kayce of Red Deer, three brothers; Ricardo (Marilyn) Abalos of Las Vegas, Gevonimo Abalos of Las Vegas and Freddie (Nina) Abalos of San Diego, four sisters; Evangeline Abalos of Rome, Paris, Diana (Eric) Castro of San Diego, Rose (Emmanuel) Nodalo of Long Beach and Nerissa (Jose) Caridad of Long Beach and many nieces and nephews in Red Deer and California. He will also be sadly missed by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben & Miguela, brother-in-law, Mario (Emma) Nava, sister-in-law, Nati (Peter) Caoile, two nephews; Dennis (Jocelyn) and Edgar (Carmen) and close friend, Darren Tiest-Van de Velde. Those wishing to pay their respects to Mr. Abalos can do so during a time of visitation at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. a Prayer Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 McMillan Avenue) on Friday, February, 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Gary Lee Celebrant.
