Dian SAVA

SAVA Dian Gayle (nee Hansen) Dian passed away peacefully in Red Deer, AB, on June 23, 2007 at the age of 60 years. She is survived by her loving son Richard Sava, his wife Zoe and her two grandchildren Zac and Hannah of White Rock, BC. She also leaves behind her brother Richard Hansen, Calgary, AB, niece Laura (Allan) Cuckow, (children Ali and Christopher), Cochrane, AB, nephew Michael Hansen, Hay River, NWT, and cousins Gail Goldman and Gary Stowe. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law Mrs.Theresa Sava, Lethbridge,AB, sister-in-law Darlene (Bruce) Robinson, nieces Shannon and Sheila Robinson, brother-in-law Chuck (Helen) Sava, Australia, nephew Trevor Sava and niece Colleen Glenn, Australia, and extended family and friends. Dian was predeceased by her husband Gary Sava, Lethbridge, also by her father and mother, Dick and Dorothy Hansen, Innisfail and Calgary, AB, and father-in-law Charles Sava, Lethbridge, AB. Dian graduated from Viscount Bennett High School, Calgary and attended the School of Nursing in Lethbridge where she met her husband. Within the first year of their marriage, he died in an airplane accident and Dian returned to Calgary and later Red Deer where she raised their son Rick. Dian was a wonderful, loving mother to Rick. She was also an accomplished pianist and was successful in marketing and investing in real estate projects in Canmore, AB. She was a member of the Golden Circle in Red Deer and was very active in the choir and her church. Dian will be buried next to her beloved husband at the Mountainview cemetery in Lethbridge on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Graveside services are being provided by Martin Brothers Funeral Chapel of Lethbridge.
