MCARTHUR Diana Lorraine 1953 – 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Lorraine McArthur. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital with her family by her side; she has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour. Diana will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Hank of Trochu, daughter, Crystal Galay of Red Deer, adopted daughter, Precy DeLeon of Red Deer and mother-in-law, Anne McArthur of Trochu. Left behind to remember her, are her siblings; Walter Rosteski, Pearl (John) Tichon, Marvin Rosteski, Elsie (Slowko) Chubka, Helen (Doug) Bruce, Darlene (Bill) Toews, Joan Wilton, Dolly (Jim) Tycholaz, Mae (Alan) Budzey, Dennis (Linda) Rosteski, sister-in-law, Gail (George) Cambridge as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Bridget Galay and her parents. Diana will be remembered for her photogenic personality, fine stitches in her sewing and her green thumb in gardening. She had endless energy for issues dear to her heart. In times of relaxation, the shopping trips were endless, the bingo was heartbreaking and reading was spiritual. Her taste for farm living was an open door for creative home décor. Part of her Ukrainian heritage blossomed through her baking and preparing for family celebrations. Her calling in life was a true reflection of motherhood to her twin daughters. Diana's family wishes to express their thanks to the Doctors and staff on Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital and Unit 42 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital for their care, compassion and support. Those wishing to pay their respects to Diana can do so at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Stevenson officiating.
