DILLING Mrs. Mary Blanche Dilling of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Mary was born on January 19, 1917 at Regina, Saskatchewan. Mary was raised on the family farm and always loved the farm life and the outdoors. She was a very loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Her family and grandchildren were her whole life and brought Mary great joy. Mary was also very talented and enjoyed doing lovely embroidery handiwork for her family and friends. Mary will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Mary leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children, Mavis Peters and Montey Gavin, both of Red Deer and Shadare Biglow of Vernon, British Columbia, her grandchildren, Geraldine Gray of Red Deer, Redeena Polichek and Mona Gray, both of Vernon and her special great grandson, Chad Hudson, also of Red Deer. She will also be very sadly missed by numerous other family members, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence, her parents, two sisters and a brother. A Public Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
