DIRSTEN KIM February 7, 1961 - June 6, 2007 Kim passed away very un- expectedly at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. She was born in Lacombe, Alberta. She will be remembered mostly for her outgoing personality and uplifting spirit. Kim and her husband Wayne were married 11 years and in those 11 years they loved the outdoors and their cabin in Caroline where they lived. Kim will be forever loved and cherished by her loving husband, Wayne Dirsten of Caroline, Alberta, daughter, Jenny Peake, Stepson, Michael, stepdaughter, Dena Dirsten, grandson, Joey Dirsten, mother, Frances Poteur, two brothers, Rocky (Sharon) Potuer and Kelly Potuer, sister, Lynette (Lee) Hansen, nephew, Graham Potuer, three nieces, Courtney Potuer, Victoria Hansen and Elizabeth Hansen and mother-in-law, Lorena Dirsten. Kim was predeceased by her father, Albert Potuer, brother, Kevin Potuer and father-in-law, Em Dirsten. A Celebration of Kim's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
