JANO Don The Jano family is sad to announce the passing of husband and father, Don Jano, March 11, 2008 at the age of 71. Don left behind his wife, Beverly, of 43 years and his two sons, Steve and Kevin of Red Deer, stepson, Russell Albersworth and his wife Donna of Cochrane, grandchildren, Kira and Corey Albersworth, Gary and Shelly Holdaway, Trevor and Heather Holdaway, and two great grandchildren, Damian and Aliyah, brother-in-law Arnold (Gladys) Van Eaton of Hythe, AB, brother-in-law Lawrence Van Eaton of Olds, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind all of his great friends. Don was born August 5, 1936 in Calgary. Don loved to fish, play his guitars, travel and boating. Don was a quiet man with a great sense of humor. There was never a challenge he couldn't face. Don was predeceased by his father Mike, mother Annie and his brother Bobby all from Calgary. Memorial Service will be held at the Poplar Ridge Hall on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Lunch to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
