In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Mansell announces her passing on Friday, April 5, 2024.
Doreen took great pleasure in the simple things in life: the colour of the sky, flowers in bloom, birds at the feeder. She loved drives in the central Alberta countryside, with stops along the way for ice cream.
Most of all she loved her husband of 57 years Derek, her son Trevor, and her grandsons Ryker and Gavin. She leaves a giant hole in our lives but has instructed us to fill it with love.
Thank you to the staff on Units 31 and 32 at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for their compassionate care.
At Doreen's request no funeral will be held. Donations in Doreen's memory can be made to the Alberta Lung Association at https://ablung.ca/give-back/donate/ or a charity of the donor's choice.
