DICKNOETHER Doris Elaine Sept. 7, 1927 to July 13, 2008 Doris (Darkas) Dicknoether was born in Blind River, Ontario, on September 7, 1927, married Earl Dicknoether June 11, 1955 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Together they moved across Canada seeking better opportunity for their family, from Saint John to Hamilton, Lindsey, and Belleville, Ontario to Victoria, Dawson Creek, B. C. and eventually settled in Lacombe Alberta. Together they raised four children. Doris was predeceased by her husband Earl and her brother Gordon and grandson Ryan. Doris is survived by her four children John and Lois Dicknoether, Cheryl and Keith Yeats, David and Jackie Dicknoether, and Don Dicknoether. Grandchildren Melissa, Amanda, Justin, Andrew, Christa, Kaitlyn, Adam, Kallie, Spencer, Grace, great grandchildren Nevaeh and Ella. Doris will be truly missed by family and friends and remembered for her humour and love of children. Funeral Services will be held from St. Andrew's United Church, 5226-51 Ave., Lacombe on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow.
