LURA Dorothy Emmile Lura of Lousana passed away on March 3, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Dorothy was born to August & Minni Lutz of Innisfail on December 31, 1937 where she helped her Mom & Dad farm. Then she met John in the spring of 1955 and then 3 months later got married and had four children, Judy, Jan, Larry and Russell. Dorothy and John were married for 52 years. She liked baking, reading and spending time outside. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Red Deer Hospital and the Innisfail Hospital for the loving care she received while she was in the hospital. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband John of Lousana; daughter Judy McBride of Innisfail; sons Jan (Marg) Lura of Red Deer, Larry of Lousana, and Russell of Lousana; granddaughter Marlene (Ken) of Red Deer and grandson Gary (Jessica) McBride of Red Deer. Dorothy is also survived by six great grandchildren, Shane, Sam, Ken Jr., Kelly, Keith and Alexis; sisters Mary of Claresholm, Janet (Roger) McRae and Carol (Art) of Innisfail. She was predeceased by her parents August & Minnie Lutz. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 1:00pm from Metcalf Funeral Chapel.
