PETERSON Dorothy Alberta Peterson of the Michener Centre in Red Deer passed away on May 7th, 2007 at the Red Deer Hospital at the age of 82. Dorothy will be lovingly missed by her family, Marie and Mike Basary and Helen Gordon of Calgary along with her many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a resident of the Michener Centre for 43 years, and was actively involved with many of their activities and programs and will be remembered for her embroidered table cloths. Dorothy loved life, her family and friends and will be missed dearly. A memorial service will be held on Monday May 14th at 1:30 at the Michener Services, Beaver Hall Chapel 204 Medowview Road in Red Deer, 340-7812.Those wishing to make a donation on Dorothy’s memory, may direct it to the Society of Parents and Friends of the Michener Centre, Box 5002, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5Y5. In living memory of Dorothy a tree will be planted in the Parkland funeral home and crematoriums memorial tree park in Red Deer county.
