STENSON, Earl Eugene March 16, 1914 - Sept. 22, 2007 Earl Stenson passed away at the Lacombe Health and Care Center on September 22, 2007 at the age of 93. Earl was born in Bawlf, Alberta on March 16, 1914, the eldest child of Charles & Bessie Stenson. Earl was married to Marion Schmeelke on July 3, 1948 and survived her by only 17 days. Earl is survived by his daughters Valerie Stenson (Floyd Berry) and Laurel Douglas; his grandsons, Craig (Lori) Douglas & Scott (Angela) Douglas; and one sister-in-law Dora Schmeelke, as well as many nephews and nieces. Earl was predeceased by his wife, Marion; son-in-law, Phil Douglas; parents Charles & Bessie Stenson; brother Eldon and sister Marjorie. In lieu of flowers, if family & friends wish, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or Fairview Cemetery, Forestburg, AB. Funeral services will be held for Marion & Earl on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, AB.
