GROSE Edna Mercia Grose of Edmonton passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital December 11 at the age of 81. Mercia was born at Clive, the youngest daughter of Wilmer and Edna Grose. After working in Edmonton and living with the Julia Longstreet family, she worked in an office in Toronto. Returning to Alberta she worked for the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic until retirement. She was predeceased by her parents Wilmer and Edna Grose and a sister Lucille. Left to mourn her passing is her sister Vera Halberg (Ernie) of Lacombe, two brothers Lloyd (Marion) Grose and Morley (Margaret) Grose of Clive, and numerous nieces and nephews. A special niece Sandi Halberg was her best friend in time of need. A private family service will be held at the Clive United Church, Saturday December 17, 2005. Interment to be in the Clive Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Alberta or a charity of the donors choice.
