Edward KELBERT

KELBERT, Edward Mr. Edward William Kelbert, beloved husband of Mrs. Rose Kelbert of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Edward was born on May 7, 1923 at Winnipeg, Manitoba. Edward served as a Pastor for most of his life and truly loved helping people and being able to serve in his ministry. His family meant the world to him and Edward loved to visit even though at times that meant traveling long distances. Edward will be deeply and sadly missed but lovingly remembered and cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Edward leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife, Rose and his loving children, Hannah Damur of Lacombe, Alberta, Tim (Lucille) Kelbert of Nanimo, BC, Lois (Norman) Arlt of Prince George, BC, Gail (Vince) White of Calgary, Alberta and David Kelbert of Sherwood Park, Alberta and eight grandchildren. Edward was predeceased by his parents, John and Olga and two brothers, Arthur and Allan. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday evening between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Edward's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Edward's honour may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 1X2.
