HARGREAVES Eileen "Nellie" Hargreaves of Lacombe formerly of Chestermere, passed away peacefully in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center on August 5, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Born and raised in Calgary, Nellie spent the majority of her life in Calgary and Chestermere, moving to Lacombe in 2003 where she enjoyed her last years of her life at the Royal Oak Manor. Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Leonard, her son Raymond and son-in-law William Nicholson, Nellie is survived by 1 daughter, Gayle Nicholson of Redwater, 1 son Jim (Brenda) of Lacombe, 6 grandchildren; Teri (Gord) Balon, Tracy (Al) Battenfelder, Tim (Sheri) Nicholson, Kerry (Suzanne) Hargreaves, Christopher (Cari) Hargreaves, & Tara Hargreaves, 2 surrogate grandchildren, Brett & Mayrean Mills, as well as 11 great grandchildren, & 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 5128-53 Street, Lacombe, Alberta on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at the Chestermere Recreation Complex, Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 1:00 PM.
