Eileen PENNOCK

PENNOCK Eileen (nee MacDonald) Mrs. Eileen Pennock passed away in Edmonton on December 26, 2007, at the age of 87 years. Eileen MacDonald was born in Huxley, Alberta where she was raised on the family farm. Upon marriage to Jack Pennock, they lived in the Elnora area then retired to Red Deer in 1969. Eileen throughout her life was committed to her faith and the church. She contributed as an organist and to church suppers and other activities, was an elder involved with business affairs, and was active with the ladies quilting group. She is survived by two daughters; Frances and Ted Langford of Lac La Biche; Diane and Jack Croft of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Corey Dahl of Lac La Biche, Kim Azcorra and her husband Daniel of Mexico; and two great grandchildren, Sean and Amber Azcorra of Mexico. Eileen is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Bernice Pennock and Coral MacDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; her brothers, Bill, John and Don; and her sisters Bessie, Lil and Flora. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Eileen Pennock will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (West Park), 3702-58 Avenue, Red Deer, on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Dewald Delport officiating. If desired, memorial tributes may be made directly to a charity of choice.
