STEVENS Elizabeth Marie "Theresa" 1935 - 2008 Elizabeth Marie “Theresa” Stevens of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on February 29, 2008 at the age of 72 years. Theresa was born on December 30, 1935 in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She was always an active member in the church and in recent years became a member of the Red Hat Society. As a good friend and neighbour to the residents in Davenport Place, Theresa was often helping out in any way she could. Theresa is survived by her loving husband Earl of Red Deer; one son and daughter in law, Brian and Kathy Stevens of Red Deer; one sister Thelma Watts of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; two brothers Fred (Pauline) of Sydney, Nova Scotia and Alfred (Kay) of Oshawa, Ontario; two grandchildren Crystal, Kayla (Tyler) and one great grandchild Nevaeh. Also left to cherish her memory is a special friend Wanda Peden. She was predeceased by her parents Freda (Babineau) and George Whalen, two sisters Pauline and Mary and five brothers Henry, Harry, Albert, George and Doug. Funeral services for the Late Elizabeth “Theresa” Stevens will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 39 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 at 2 pm. For those wishing to pay their respects, visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Special thanks to the staff of Unit 32 and to Dr. Grundling for his care and support.
