LINDGREN Eloise Lindgren passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 8, 2006 at 88 years of age. She was born on May 20, 1917, the second of four children, to Chester and Gladys Hobbs of Czar, AB. She married Carl Lindgren from nearby Amisk in 1934. Daughter June was the first of six children born. A son, Jackie, died accidentally at 14 months of age. Carl, Eloise and June moved to Biggar, SK in 1939 where Carl worked for the CNR. Their remaining children: Gladie, Pat, Jim and Judi were all born in Biggar. After her husband's death in 1983, she moved to Red Deer to be closer to her family. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday February 13 at 2:00 pm. at Eventide Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to the Canadian Institute for the Blind (Macular Degeneration) in her memory.
