HIRSCH Elsie Constance (nee Marshall) Sept. 26, 1914 - Jan. 15, 2008 Elsie passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Manor in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 93. Elsie is predeceased by her husband Frank and brothers Harold, Raymond and Leslie. She is survived by her sisters in law Edith and Barbara and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews as well as many close friends. Born in St. Louis, Saskatchewan, Elsie went on to study nursing in Prince Albert and was a caring and compassionate nurse for 44 years. Most of Elsie's nursing life was centered in the Red Deer area, her caring touch was felt by many of the residents and her loving heart will always be remembered. A special thank you to Elsie’s many friends who took the time to visit, phone and help in numerous ways to make her final years enjoyable. To the staff at Valley Park Manor for their compassionate care, thank you. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 48a Ave, Red Deer, AB at 2:00pm.
