HUGET, Elsie (nee Hoven) Elsie Huget, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away January 10, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Elsie was born in Germany January 6, 1921 and came to Canada at the age on one and half years. She was raised on a farm with her mother, stepfather, five sisters and one brother. She married Gordon Huget at the age of seventeen and together they proceeded to raise their own family. Elsie worked most of her life but she still managed to keep a spotless home and was one of the best homemakers ever. She loved nothing more than on her day off to cook for ten to fifteen people. With every meal there always had to be at least three desserts. Elsie also loved to sew and embroider. She was a wonderful mother. Elsie leaves to mourn her daughter Doreen (Joe), son Gerald (Eva) and her son Dale (Hanna) and June Huget. Also eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, Ruth of B.C., Vera of B.C., Esther of Ontario and Dolly of Calgary. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Gordon in October 1999. Her mother and stepfather, one sister Irma, and one brother Phillip. We loved her dearly and will miss her forever. A special thank you to the nursing staff and Remy at the Rosefield Extended Care Hospital for taking such good care of Mom for the past six and a half years. A private family service will be held at a later date.
