EMMONS - Lew (Brian) Lew (Brian) Emmons passed away suddenly on September 20, 2006 at the age of 47 years at his home in Benalto of a heart aneurism. Born in Ontario, Lew came west with his family in 1969. Eventually becoming an industrial insulator, he found his heart's work in being a strong voice for the brain injured and handicapped people of central Alberta. Past deceased in this branch of the Emmons family are John Lewis, father of Kevin and Lew, in 1987 and Tamara Delta, infant daughter of Kevin Emmons and Aschley Huaghes in 1986. Left to mourn Lew are his mother Ellen Emmons of Rimbey and his brother Kevin Emmons of Red Deer. A Funeral Service will be held for the late Lew Emmons will be held at the Sylvan Lake Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium.
