MAURINS, Erika Lillian 1923- 2007 Erika Lillian Maurins passed away comfortably after a lengthy illness, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, October 22, 2007, at the age of 83 years. Lillian was born on November 26, 1923 in Riga, Latvia. She immigrated to Hamilton in 1949 from Stuttgart, Germany and moved to Red Deer in 1993 to be with her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Richard, three grandchildren, Andre (Francesca) Richard of Edmonton, Rene (Danielle) Richard, Julie (Geritt) Patton both of Red Deer, four great grandchildren, Jessica, Payton, Ethan and Vaughn, a sister Irene Haas and nephew Marc Haas both of Hamilton. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Eric Maurins in 1990 and her mother, Rosalia Ziverts in 1992. A Memorial Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium. Lillian will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Hamilton.
