FRERE, Ernest Pierre Joseph Ernie was born in Trochu, Alberta on May 3, 1950 to Pete and Helen Frere. He passed away suddenly at his home in Calgary on November 13, 3007 at the age of 57. He was raised in Trochu and attended school at Pontmain and Tro-Val High. While growing up he worked on the farm, played hockey, and enjoyed riding his motorbike. Upon graduating from high school, Ernie moved to Calgary for employment. He earned enough money to travel to Europe for a year. Those who knew Ernie well will remember how meticulous he was at keeping his vehicles clean. Ernie was predeceased by his mother, Helen, and his youngest brother Wayne (Guv). He is survived by his three children Brad (Michelle) and their children Tyson and Avery, Danielle (Michael), and Marc; his father, Pete and his wife Doris; sisters Jackie (Bruce), Paulette (Blair), Elaine (Allan), Rinky (Norm); brothers Roger (Donna), Pokey (Cara), Marcel (Frances), numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
