Esther ANDERSON

ANDERSON Esther Catherine Anderson of Innisfail, Alberta, formerly of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the age of 77 years. Esther graduated from the Provincial Training School in November, 1947, an accomplishment of which she was very proud. After that, she worked at the West Park Nursing Home for 20 years. Esther loved travelling and enjoyed taking in the sights by way of bus tours. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Jack (Colleen) Anderson of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, her daughter Valleen Anderson of Red Deer, four grandchildren; Daryl Anderson and Lisa Prentice, both of Peterborough, Ontario, John Anderson and Jennifer Anderson, both of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, three great-grandsons; Tanner and Cory of Peterborough, Ontario, and Ethan of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, two brothers; Norman Lind and Jager Lind, both of Red Deer, one sister Freda Rutz of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by her parents, Jorgen and Helga Lind, her husband, Gordon, one son, Leonard, as well as four brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service for the late Esther Anderson will be held at Parkland Christian Church (5515 - 43 Street) on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Esther Anderson can do so to the Parkland Christian Church (5515 - 43 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 1E1) or the Canadian Cancer Society (4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 9Z9).
