SOUTHORN Evelyn Lucy June 24, 1918 - November 4, 2007 Evelyn went to be with her Lord and Saviour last Sunday, November 4th, 2007 and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was the loving, devoted wife of Walter for over 58 years, and their strong marriage was an example to all of us. She leaves behind her loving husband and four children: Sharon (Keith) Nielsen, Kerry (Cheryl) Southorn, Dale (Elisabeth) Southorn and Lynette (Mike) Marti; 14 grandchildren: Tim (Michelle), Dave (Melanie), Donovan (Joanne), Sharilee, Blair (Jessica), Karina, Sean, Kara (Dave), David, Dustin, Debbie, Justin, Tess and Allissa; and three great-grandchildren: Hailey, Jenna and Aylah, along with many other relatives and friends. Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, ten siblings and one grandchild, Brendan. Evelyn was born in Struan, Saskatchewan and moved to Edmonton in 1947. She met her husband-to-be and they got married on June 18, 1949. Together they faithfully served the Lord and have been a blessing to many. A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held on Friday, November 9th 2007 at 2 p.m. at Southgate Alliance Church, 3916-107 St. Edmonton.
